We provide our own goat milk from nigerian dwarf and boer-mixed does. Our sweet goats are always healthy, happy, and might I say a little spoiled too!
My husband and I even drink their milk as it tastes great and contains prebiotics, helping with the growth of good bacteria in your gut. It's truly a delicious gem.
Our mini-farm is located in the charming, small town of Ethridge, TN.

Yes! The shelf life on our lotion is 8-10 months from the day it arrives at your door.
Goat Milk Soap does not expire, as after the saponification process, the benefits of the Goat Milk remain but the bacteria are perpetually gone- no need to worry.
Nope! You do not have to refrigerate your lotion. But we do suggest that you do NOT keep it in areas where it will be exposed to the sun or heat for long periods of time.
Example: do not keep the lotion in your car in the hot summer months.

Yes, only for lotions right now. It is $2 per sample, plus shipping. If you’re a first-time customer hoping to try our products, you can email me what you'd like to try and we'll get it ordered for you. This is a great way to see how you like the products without spending much money.
Yes, all of our products are 100% natural, sustainably sourced, and cruelty free. While goats do not have to be pregnant to produce milk, I make sure that pregnant goats are not milked in the months leading up to their due dates so that they can rest and have plenty of milk for their little ones. Happy goats produce great milk and Humming's goats are treated like part of the family! So, we're happy to see that other people out there care about their well being as much as we do.
As for gluten-free, yes, nearly all of our products are gluten free. If you are extremely sensitive to having gluten on your skin, you may want to avoid our upcoming Oatmeal & Honey scented soap. as there could potentially be some traces of gluten from the oats. Otherwise, there is no gluten in our products. We list ALL ingredients included in the product on the individual product pages and encourage our customers to view the list of ingredients before use.
Lastly, YES! Duir goat milk products are excellent to use on babies; they’re safe, made with 100% natural ingredients, nourishing to the skin, free of toxins, and super gentle! We recommend using the Unscented Goat Milk Lotion or Unscented Soap to start, but you also send an email to request a lightly scented Rose or Lavender product as well.
Properly made goat milk soap does not expire, so no! It actually only gets better with age. The beauty of the saponification (soapmaking) reaction, is that it converts the milk molecules into soap; which means there is no milk actually left but you still get ALL the awesome goat milk benefits!
The lactic acid (an alpha-hydroxy acid) in goat milk, the vitamins and minerals in goat milk, and of course the creamy butterfat goodness all remain in the soap to help nourish, moisturize, and protect your skin.
And even though there is lots of healthy goat milk in our soap, there is no need to fear that the milk will grow any harmful bacteria, yeast, or mold. Because the milk is no longer liquid - it has been turned into soap!
In warmer months, I will ship my methodically wrapped goat milk products with dry ice and always inform the postal service it is fragile and needs extra care. I also recommend priority shipping so there's less time in transit.
Fresh Goat Milk is the magical milky way of our soap! In fact, over 26% of every bar of goat milk soap consists of farm-fresh goat's milk.
Now as for medically-related skin concerns: While we do not and cannot make any medical claims, give medical advice, or suggest that our products cure skin conditions, I have heard from many of my customers with various skin conditions that they have gotten positive results from using Duir's products. Some say the best is Egyptian Violet & Lavender, Peppermint and Vanilla & Unscented-honey lotions and soaps. Although, each condition is unique and there can be many explanations as to what causes skin irritation, so I recognize that these suggestions won’t work for everyone. However, many people with eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, keratosis pilaris, rosacea and other conditions have found powerful relief with the use of Duir Skincare products.
